ServicesWatch PhotographyYear2020
A watch is one of the most demanding products to photograph because almost every part of it can reflect its surroundings. Polished cases, curved crystal, brushed metal, hands, indices and intricate dials all respond differently to light.
My approach uses carefully controlled gradients, reflections and highlights to describe the form of the watch while retaining the character and precision of the original design. Macro photography adds another challenge, particularly when the image needs to hold fine detail across the face, hands and case.
The result is precise, highly controlled watch photography suitable for e-commerce, catalogues, advertising and brand imagery.
